Appliance shopping guide for Black Friday

Black Friday is one of the best times of year to get appliances and almost anything else. Because appliances are usually expensive it’s always helpful for homeowners and people looking to save on their purchases to keep an eye on the biggest sales of the year.

In the last few years, this one-day sale has become a gigantic event that can last even the whole month of November, but for the sake of regular shoppers, we are going to focus on two events.

Black Friday
Cyber Monday

These two are the easiest to remember and the ones with the biggest price reductions for appliances. Now you need to get prepared to go shopping during the craziest sales event of the year.

Decide at home

There is no hesitation on Black Friday, especially if you go to the stores in person. You need to know beforehand what appliances you want, and preferably wherein the store to find it. In order to get the model you want, quickly and safely.

Have a ranked list

It’s always better to be over-prepared than left with nothing. So, make a list of models and brands you like, work down from there and go home with a great deal.

Choose trusted brands

Go for what you know and trust, appliances are an investment but if you know where to look they will last you long enough to be worth it. Our suggestions:

General Electric
Samsung
Bosch
Miele
Whirlpool
Kitchenaid
Kenmore
Maytag
Electrolux

Get there early

At the store or online the early bird gets the appliance, so make the sacrifice. Going early means getting the shopping out of the way and avoiding the hassle. To be on the safe side we suggest sticking to online shopping or curbside pickups.

Best Appliances to get on Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Its prices you are not likely to see again, so go big and take it home. Getting the priciest appliances on big sales days just makes sense. So, go for the:

Refrigerator
Washing machine
Dryer
Dishwasher
Stoves

Install with the Pros

So, you got your great appliance deal? Now, it’s time to call the pros and get your new fridge, stove, or washing machine installed by the people who know best.

Remember it’s better to call for an installation than for an emergency repair on your new appliance!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Maydone Appliance Repair to repair our gas stove. Vitali the technician who came to our home was professional and courteous and was quick to diagnose the problem. With the parts being backordered from the original manufacturer, Maydone went above and beyond to source the parts and they were able to make the repairs quickly. Vitali completed the repair and the stove is working again I would highly recommend Maydone

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Maydone to inspect an Induction oven in my home that was giving off a burnt electrical smell, which was freaking me out understandably. They responded quickly and had a tech come out the next day. Igor, I believe. He was fantastic. Very friendly, super informative, and helped us make the best decision. I would undoubtedly call them again, I mean I hope we won't need to, but if we do, for sure I will call the company again. Highly recommended.
