Best Appliance’s to Gift or Buy This Holiday Season

The holidays are here and it’s one of the best times of the years to gift, get or repair your appliances. Why? During the holiday season prices tend to be slashed to encourage people to shop more. So, take advantage of the low prices and the holiday spirit and get yourself a new appliance.

When should I replace my old appliance?

Appliances like everything have a lifespan. After a certain number of years has passed it is recommended you look into getting a new appliance to replace the old equipment.

New appliances are not only better in performance they also improve energy usage and can save you even more time on your day to day chore and make life generally more comfortable.

So consider these time frames when choosing which appliance to get.

Gas ranges usually last about 15
Electric ranges 13 years
Range and oven hoods 14 years
Washing machines are good for about 10 years & Dryers (electric and gas) 13 years
Refrigerators 13 years & Freezers last about 11 years
Garbage disposals 8 to 12 years depending on usage, you could also get away with just replacing a few pieces of the appliance to renew it.
Microwaves can last 9 or more years
Dishwashers can function well for up to 9 to 10 years

Remember these are all variable on how well you take care of your appliances

Now, that you have that guidance tool lest get to the list of the best appliances to get or gift during the holiday season

The Big Ones

Refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, and dryers. These are the big players in the home. Super necessary appliances to have that have some really good deals in the winter sale season. It’s always a good bet to save some money on these and they make any homework a little smoother.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Maydone Appliance Repair to repair our gas stove.

Vitali the technician who came to our home was professional and courteous and was quick to diagnose the problem.

With the parts being backordered from the original manufacturer, Maydone went above and beyond to source the parts and they were able to make the repairs quickly.

Vitali completed the repair and the stove is working again

I would highly recommend Maydone

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Maydone to inspect an Induction oven in my home that was giving off a burnt electrical smell, which was freaking me out understandably. They responded quickly and had a tech come out the next day. Igor, I believe. He was fantastic. Very friendly, super informative, and helped us make the best decision. I would undoubtedly call them again, I mean I hope we won't need to, but if we do, for sure I will call the company again. Highly recommended.
