Measure your mix carefully and pour it all into one big pot, wait until it reaches a boil, and then reduce the heat to a medium-low heat. Squash the eco nuts and mix them with the rest of the components.
Cover your liquid detergent mix and leave it to rest for half an hour. After that take the cover off and let sit in low heat for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn heat off and with a mesh strainer move the mix into another container to let cool. Once it has cooled close the container and go wash a load!

- 2 cups of washing soda

Use a shredder or food processor to tear the bar of soap and put the resulting pieces in a pot. Add 1 liter of boiling water to the soap, put it on medium-high heat, and let it all melt together
You can then add 3 more liters of water, and mix in the washing soda and borax. After it has dissolved let it rest overnight. Break apart any clots you find in the mix the next day, and add your favorite essential oil to your homemade detergent for a unique scent!
